Fiona's Petite Succulent Pot Birthday Cakes

Inspired by Japanese porcelain tea bowls, an assorted collection of little, completely edible, potted sugar succulents. Chocolate and pistachio mud cakes layered with dark ganache and a tangy orange/orange blossom buttercream.

They are soft and fragile like a pillow. I sliced one in half, nibbled the little leaves and picked off the stones before sinking in to the smooth filling. Pure delight. Heaven."
